Ambergris Caye, Belize

The island of Ambergris Caye is perfect for anglers wishing to fish for bonefish, permit, tarpon or snook. Whether this is your first saltwater trip or you're a seasoned vet, our our experienced guides & hosts know the waters around Belize. This multifaceted trip will have you on the bow of a panga, casting in skinny water, tossing flies between mangroves or wading for a shot at bonefish or permit. Depending on times of year, you will have a chance to catch 100lb+ tarpon, although there are always plenty of juvenile baby tarpon that hang out locally. Our guides work harder and are more dedicated to finding your dream fish.

This tropical destination is easily reached by a flight into Belize City or Cancun and a short flight or water taxi to the island of Ambergris and the town of San Pedro. Here you will be escorted by one of our friendly employees and taken to your rooms where you can begin relaxing right away by taking a walk on the beach, sitting down at the hotel bar or exploring on your own for a chance at some really large bonefish. The area of Ambergris is not generally known for the double digit sizes of bones, but the numbers of fish available are astounding.

Your non angling friends and family will find plenty to do as we are situated right in downtown San Pedro. This small town maintains a very friendly and safe atmosphere with lots of places to eat, shop and explore. There are plenty of diving opportunities available, as Belize hosts some of the most beautiful dive spots in the world. Imagine snorkeling or diving with giant tarpon, sea turtles and beautiful reef sharks. We can also tailor your trip if you would like to to divide up the activities. Maybe a trip to the ancient mayan area of Bacalar Chico or just setting up on a local island, with you, your friends and some cold ones.
